The coarseness of the grind is controlled by how long the button is pressed - the longer the blades are moving, the finer the beans are ground. For a coarse grind, try 5 seconds; for a medium grind, try 10 seconds. For a fine Espresso grind, hold the button for at least 20 seconds.
